Policies

By selecting “Book Now” on the booking interface of the https://www.morneingglorycottage.ca web site, the Vacationer understands and agrees that they are entering into a legal binding contract between the Vacationer and Property Owner. The issuance of a written or electronic confirmation to the Vacationer by the Agency shall complete a binding contract between the Vacationer and the Property Owner.

General Policies

  • Three nights is the minimum stay.
  • Check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
  • Check-out time is 11:00 am.
  • The cottage is carefully cleaned before and after each guest. Please wash and re-store dishes, utensils, cutlery and cookware at time of check-out.
  • Dispose of all garbage at time of checkout.
  • Remove all food and personal effects before departure.
  • The cottage is smoke free. Smoking is only permitted outside the cottage.
  • No pets are allowed.   

Damage and Theft

  • The cottage is smoke free. Smoking is only permitted outside the cottage.  If it is determined that this rule has been broken, a $300 cleaning fee will be charged.
  • The cottage is fully equipped with indoor and outdoor cooking facilities.  An additional cleaning fee of $25 per hour will be charged if extra clean-up is required to prepare for the next guests.
  • An inventory of cottage contents is conducted and recorded following each check-out.
  • Any missing items or items damaged due to neglect or disregard will be replaced or fixed at the guest's expense, using the credit card on deposit. 

 

Payment & Cancellation

  • Blue Pay and Pinpoint Booking System act as booking agents. It arranges bookings and reservations of cottage accommodation as agents for the owners of the holiday accommodation ("the Property Owner"). The person or persons who provide payment on account of a booking are hereafter referred to as the “Vacationer”
  • The guest agrees to provide a valid credit card number as a guarantee and to pay

    • all outstanding long distance phone charges

    • accept all liability for any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the term of the Vacation.

    • to pay any penalties listed in this agreement and house rules for failure to meet any of the terms and conditions listed there in.

  • Cancellations 30 days or more before check-in will be refunded the full amount less a $25 per night admin fee.
  • Cancellations less than 30 days before check-in will be refunded the full amount IF the cottage can be re-booked.  Every effort will be made to fill the vacancy however, if it cannot be re-booked, there will be no refund and the full amount will be payable.

Other

  • Limitations of Liability:  The Vacationer represent, warrants, acknowledge and agrees with https://www.morneingglorycottage.ca (the Agency) and the Property Owner (the Property Owner) that they will use the cottage and its facilities in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement and the house hold rules and that they do so at their own risk and that they indemnify and save the Agency and Property Owner harmless from any claim made as a result of personal injury, sickness or death, loss or damage, however caused, to person or property of the Vacationer or their family, guests, visitors, servants and agents during or after the time of occupancy. Further, the Vacationer accepts full responsibility of the use of any recreational equipment, such as boats and motors, etc. and agrees to pay for any repairs to damage to or replacement of said equipment, if caused by the vacationer or any of their family, guests, visitors, servants and agents.
